Abstract
The healthy ageing framework, proposed by the World Health Organization
operationalizes health as functional ability, which results from the interactions of intrinsic
capacity and the environments. Functional medicine work with different types of
functional disorders. A lot of them are age-related. We can predict facial aging now and
compare it with cranio-facial and posture muscle disorders.
Еру aging is not a linear process. It’s differently in different anatomical zones.
Systematized diagnosis of age-related changes allows us to more effectively choose
treatment tactics. This leads to better aesthetic results. Changes in the aesthetics of the
face are associated with neuromuscular disorders of the maxillofacial system, the
cervical region, and the entire posture. An integrated approach to diagnosis and
treatment allows you to prevent the age-related changes in facial aesthetics. We
analyze the main aesthetic markers of facial aging and their relationship with a head-
neck disturbance, breath pattern disorders and the craniomandibular dysfunction.
